A fun filled day at the Young Farmer's Camp will include:

• Welcome & Barn Yard Trivia
• Daily Barn Yard Feeding:
  meet, feed, and learn how to care for all the animals.
• Farm Play and Morning Snack
• Activity #1 (Learning about farm animals)
• Activity #2 (Learning about things that happen on a farm)
  (apples, pollination, gardening, farming, or a hike to the creek)
• Lunch (Ice-Cream treats on designated days)
• Activity #3 (Craft time related to days lessons)
• Wrap up & Play time

The farm offers 10 varities of animals, the only glass tube milking parlor in Virginia, cornfields, apple orchards, and much more for your child to experience. On the farm, no two days are the same!!!

Young Farmers Camp I
Dates: July 23rd, 25th, & 27th
Time: 3:00PM to 6:00PM

Where: Hedgebrook Farm in Winchester Virginia

Cost: $120.00 for the week(3 days) per child

Campers: entering grades 1st-3rd grade. 25 children max

Play and learn as you meet, feed, and care for the farm's animals (Jersey dairy cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys and more). Explore the life cycle of the apple tree, garden vegetables, fields and have fun with a daily craft to take home. Rain or shine, you need to bring your own snack. Parents come for a child guided tour and hay ride on the final hour on Friday.

Young Farmers Camp II
Dates: July 16th, 18th, & 20th
Time: 9:30AM to 12:30PM

Where: Hedgebrook Farm in Winchester Virginia

Campers: entering grades 1st-3rd.

Cost: $120.00 for the week(3 days) per child 20 children max

Some things remember about the camps:

• Campers are responsible for bringing their own snack, lunch, and drink every day.
• Where there is a "working farm", there is dirt. Your child will get dirty, so please send your kid to camp in old play clothes and closed toe shoes.
• Please send a jacket & hat with your child every day, you never know when a storm may show up.
• If it rains, we'll have lots of puddles. Please dress your child approperiately for the day: Jeans, boots, rain jacket, & a hat will be needed.
• Parents will need to sign a waiver for the child to participate in the camps. We will be outside 99% of the time, which means accidents could happen.
• We have BEE's, if your child is allergic to them we strongly urge you to consider not sending your kid to our camp. It's for their safety, not ours.
• These are just the basics, for a full list of information about our camps please request a brochure.
• We love doing this stuff. Your kid will have fun, we'll have fun, and you'll enjoy hearing about the camp everyday when your child returns home.

Checks should be payable to "Hedgebrook Farm Market". Advanced registration is required. Refund is only made if the farm must cancel a program or due to illness of the participant.
